The Primary and Pre-primary department of Lakshmipat Singhania Academy had organized their annual Christmas Programme on 23^rd December, 2022. The students of Classes 1 and 2 performed the Nativity Play. The audience enjoyed the entry of Santa to the song ‘Santa Claus is coming to town.’  A play titled ‘Jojo finds a Home’ presented by the students of Classes 3 to 5 kick started the events of the day. The play highlighted the theme of love and joy as Jojo, a stray puppy finds home in the heart of Ivan, a lonely boy who is much like Jojo. This was followed by a beautiful rendition of ‘Joy to the World’ by the Primary choir.
Then came, an entertaining dance by the students of Classes 1 and 2 who performed with great energy. Another favourite among the audience was the performance by the dancers of Preschool 2 who tapped their feet to Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer with great exuberance. The performers of Preschool 1, Preschool 2, Class 1 and Class 2, all came on stage once more to finally wish the audience a Merry Christmas with yet another dance. Finally, the teacher’s choir performed a medley of carols which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in the audience, who clapped and sang along to the popular numbers.
In her address to the students at the end, the Vice Principal, ma’am Jaya Misra appreciated the efforts put in by the students and teachers in making the programme a grand success.

It was the time of giving and sharing. So Santa Clause went around all the classes from Montessori to class VIII distributing sweets and bringing that sweet smile on the faces of the little ones.

All the students of class 7B brought stationery/ sweets/ snacks for all the support staff on 23rd December.  They went around like Santa distributing these goodies to them on every floor. The students felt happy to see their smiling faces and received warm blessings from all the bhaiyas and didis. They celebrated X Mas by experiencing the joy of giving. Vivaan Rathi had baked a cake for his classmates. All of us enjoyed a sweet reward at HRP to culminate the celebration.

Class 6 C decorated their classroom for Christmas with different decorative items brought by the students. The outside bulletin board was also decorated by art and craft done by different students of the class. The students also took part in the Christmas mirth by engaging in a fun Secret Santa. Students drew names of classmates from a bowl of chits and gifted them with gifts they had brought. The students bubbled with excitement as they unwrapped their presents gifted to them.
