Children’s Day Celebration – 14 November 2025

Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all sections of the school on 14 November 2025, marking the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his deep love for children. A range of age-appropriate activities ensured meaningful engagement and joyful participation for students from Montessori to Class VIII.

Pre-Primary (Montessori to Class II) The day was filled with fun and excitement for the pre-primary students. Classroom celebrations included movie time, dancing, and a class party, creating a joyful atmosphere. This was followed by an entertaining magic show that left the children awestruck. The students went home with a special token of love and appreciation from the school, making the day truly memorable.

Classes III – V The celebration began by highlighting the significance of Children’s Day as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary. Students actively participated in quizzes, games, and other interactive activities. A song and a skit performed by the teachers emphasized the importance of using software applications responsibly and judiciously. The programme concluded with an insightful address by the Director ma’am, who spoke about Pandit Nehru’s life, ideals, and his enduring bond with children.

Classes VI – VIII Teachers of the Middle School Department organized a vibrant programme for the students, featuring a fashion show, group song, group dance, and solo performances. A cyber fair quiz on the heritage monuments of Kolkata, conducted by Mr. Aditya Poddar, added an educational dimension to the celebration. The Director ma’am also interacted with the students and shared interesting facts about the life and vision of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The celebrations across all departments successfully combined learning, creativity, and enjoyment, making Children’s Day 2025 a meaningful and memorable experience for every student.
