Under the gentle strains of Rabindra Sangeet and the timeless spirit of literature, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy celebrated Rabindra Jayanti with grace and deep admiration for the Bard of Bengal, Rabindranath Tagore.
The celebration titled Tagore Beyond Borders commenced with the garlanding of Gurudev’s portrait, symbolising our heartfelt tribute to the visionary. The stage then came alive with soulful songs, elegant dance performances, expressive recitations, and a captivating drama inspired by Tagore’s global ideals and literary brilliance. Adding depth to the occasion, the Director of the Academy shared inspiring anecdotes from different phases of Tagore’s extraordinary life — his philosophy, creativity, and contribution to nation-building. The Principal spoke about Jorasanko Thakur Bari, the ancestral home where the seeds of genius blossomed into a legacy that continues to illuminate generations across the world.
The programme concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, leaving every heart enriched with the timeless message of harmony, creativity, and universal humanism that Tagore championed.
