Highlight- The session explored the importance of Circle Time in creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Participants learned a range of engaging activities that encourage children to speak, share, and express their ideas confidently, along with strategies to involve shy and hesitant children in group interactions. They practised activities such as the Question of the Day, storytelling, and conversation games, with a focus on developing active listening, turn-taking, eye contact, and respectful communication. The session also highlighted how songs, rhymes, movement, and interactive games can make Circle Time both fun and purposeful. Strategies to promote peer interaction, empathy, and teamwork were discussed, while emphasizing the teacher’s role in providing positive reinforcement and encouragement. Practical ideas for making Circle Time more interactive, inclusive, and child-centered were also shared.
