Montessori
We started with the Montessori section of the school in 2014. This section of the school caters to the educational and emotional needs of the child from the age group of 2+ years. The child is guided by speacialized teachers to develop at his/her own pace and follow his/her quest and is led into a lifetime of discoveries. Each classroom here is designed to provide an environment where children fulfil their natural curiosity about the world around them.
The Montessori curriculum emphasizes on making its pupils independent and exercise freedom within limits. The school endorses respect for a child’s natural, psychological, physical, social and spiritual development through integrated learning. Remedial teaching and Home Room periods are also incorporated at this level. Work Experience, Art and Physical Education are a part of the curriculum and are graded periodically. Education Programme is supported through reinforcement in areas through technology-aided-learning and activities in mathematics, science, language like Hindi, English, Bengali and Sanskrit. Audio - Visual support and Excursions and Educational trips are an integral part of the educational programme.
